National Final
The National Final in 2024 will be held on Monday the 3rd of June in Sydney at the NSW State Library. The winning teams from each heat are invited to take part in the the final. During the final the teams buzz in to answer 13 questions in each of 5 rounds. The questions are more complex and teams gain two points for a correct answer and lose one point for an incorrect answer. All teams start with 10 points.
Wayne Mills who established Kids' Lit Quiz in New Zealand in 1991 will travel from New Zealand to be the Quiz Master.
The winning team of the National Final will be invited to the World Final. The World Final in 2024 will be held in Canberra, Australia between the 8th and 12th of July.
The winning team of the National Final receives book prizes , trophy, first place medallions and a cash subsidy to assist with travel to the World Final. The teams that finish second and third also receive book prizes and place medallions.
